About the way we fish
Confidence is key
We want our customers to have complete confidence in our fish.
We know how important provenance is to restaurants and chefs. That’s why we keep detailed records of all our catch, including date and time, supplier vessel, location and quality.
Our traceability process is MSC Chain of Custody certified. Our commitment to traceability continues onshore, too. We record landing, storage, and delivery to customers. Any customer can access complete details about their consignment, and trace it all the way back to our supplier’s vessel.

Reliable Fishery Management.
Our fish are harvested in the Russian Exclusive Economic Zone of the North Atlantic and North Pacific Oceans.
Our fishery management system is structured in a similar way across many countries. It is based on a long tradition of scientific research on the oceans and fishing stocks that provides recommendations for the total catch of every commercial species.
Quotas are then distributed to individual fishing vessels. Strict controls are in place to secure that all rules and regulations are upheld. Every exported fish receives a Catch Certificate which fulfils EU and US demands.
